Glider tow tests

10/15. 2011;

Our company carried out glider tow tests at its home airfield in Ražňany in order to verify the take-off distance to a 15 m height and the climb rate of at least 1.5 m/s, in line with the German LTF UL and Czech UL 2 regulations.

We have carried out the tests with a glider Grob 103 C Twin III SL with the take-off weight of 750 kg. The result was successful, as it is documented by an attached video. The test has shown that Viper SD-4 meets the requirements for towing gliders weighing up to 750 kg.
