Aircraft flight in honor of M.R.Štefánik

“In honor of the 140th anniversary of the birth of General Milan Rastislav Štefánik, 13 light aircraft flew over Bratislava on Monday. Štefánik’s great-grandfather Tamara Dudášová, born Štefániková, also came to Bratislava Airport, which is named after him. State Secretary of the Ministry of Transport and Construction (MDV) of the Slovak Republic, Jaroslav Kmeť, also participated in the ceremonial flight.”
“On this occasion, 28 crew members of the Slovak Air Federation organized a flight from Kvetoslavov to Bratislava with a half-hour flight over the formation of aircraft over Bratislava and a subsequent landing at M. R. Štefánik Airport associated with a low flight over the runway of the airport bearing Štefánik’s name,” explained the President of the Slovak Air Federation, Marián Sluk.
